I'm making a brief return to Tarboard to say how wonderful it is to see 'Swallow' in such excellent restored condition. As one of the original consortium who chipped in for her purchase, to see her sailing is immensely satisfying. I wish I'd been there, but the next best thing is the really good video, with sound too (thanks to Messrs I Jacobson and F Boden, and Rob for posting it) - this is surely the future for the promotion of interest in things Ransome. It is just like being there - terrific!
