Obviously it would make little sense for Amazon Publications to reprint it now that it's readily available elsewhere. My point (which I hope was not expressed too forcefully) was more academic. Why not before? Why Bohemia in London but not Elixir? Roger has answered those questions and I think also addressed Magnus's point regarding obscurity vs unpopularity. I respectfully disagree with the views above. Yes, Elixir is flawed but I think most people interested enough in Ransome to read this board would find it intriguing.
