I suspect that your librarian knew as much about Blyton's content as you did and was giving you an uninformed party line. There are not many of her books with any characters who could be addressed by racial epithets such as the ones you suggest. What there is, when foreign characters occur, is an expression of British superiority but its not usually cast on a racial basis, just that foreigners generally are mad, bad or dangerous to know and not on a par with the British.
