You could draw a parallel between Captain Smith of the Titanic and the captain of the Costa Concordia - those two lines will never meet.
One question: she was the RMS Titanic, but what was the designation on her lifecoats - RMS or SS?
Another question: when the iceberg was sighted dead ahead, the lookout ordered "Full starboard". If the Titanic had steered to the starboard to miss the iceberg, how did the damage occur on her starboard side? Surely it would have occurred on her port side.
