About 20 years ago I toured USS Constitution in Boston harbor. She is still afloat and still in commission with the US Navy. I remember asking how much of her was original and the answer was "a portion of the keel". I think that was an inverse exaggeration but the restoration in the 1920s and early 1930s was essential and thorough - and there seems no question as to whether she is the same vessel.

Fortunately, as a commissioned vessel she has not been degraded and Disneyfied, and as far as I know she is perfectly capable of putting to sea (she sails once a year, but recently only around the harbor, exchanging salutes with the fort that guards the harbor, if I remember correctly).
