One of the delights of TarBoard is the unrestrained way in which threads charge off into
unexpected directions. Where else would a thread about the merits of a book's adaptation
into film almost immediately dive off into a discussion about the evolution of English
pronunciation?
Strangely, JB's branch down the track of post-Orwellian Britain did not generate any follow ups.
As one who has 'been there, done that, got the t-shirt' I wonder how many other TarBoarders have
experienced or witnessed something like the scene described by Fergus Mason?
