A coincidence of island names...

There was an interesting discussion on the Facebook group that led me to ponder about a coincidence of island names between Derwent Water and Windermere.

According to Sophie Neville, the island used for Coromorant Island in the film was not Silver Holme (with Blake Holme in the distance) as described by Christina Hardyment in Captain Flint's Trunk, instead it was an island on Derwent Water, with Rampsholme in the background (the island used for Wild Cat Island for the first view from Darien).

This intrigued me for a variety of reasons. One was because it had not previously escaped me that the name Rampsholme is somewhat similar to my preferred Wild Cat Island, Ramp Holme. But it would appear that one of the Lingholm islands on Derwent Water was the Cormorant Island of choice (and looked the part, it has to be said) and that has a coincidence of names with Ling Holme on Windermere, which isn't a bad option for a Cormorant Island.

I suppose I'm pondering whether these are entirely coincidences.
Rampsholme is "the island" that you look out at from Friar's Crag, just as Ramp Holme is the island that you would look down the lake to from Cockshott Point. Mix in a bit of Peel Island and Bob's your uncle... I'll try and include a few pictures to semi-illustrate this...
This one's Ling Holme on Windermere (a bit big and too many trees for Cormorant Island, but it's one of the only "all rocky" islands on Windermere and a good location).
