AR devotees may be interested in a recently published book - "A Lakeland Saga - the Story of the Collingwood and Altounyan Family in Coniston and Aleppo". The author is Jeremy Collingwood, a descendant, and he has drawn much of his information from the private papers of Brigit Sanders, neé Altounyan (the ‘Ship’s Baby’). Naturally, AR gets frequent mentions. On a quick read, I would say that this is the most detailed account of the Altounyan family that has so far been published. The book is paperback and not expensive (£9.99) and can be obtained from the publishers, Sigma Press – www.sigmapress.co.uk
