An article by Claire Barnett on Captain Flint's Houseboat has just been added to the Boats and Dinghies section of All Things Ransome. This article examines how Ransome fused elements of both Esperance and Gondola in creating the houseboat. The original for this article was published in 2009 in the TARS U.S. newsletter Signals from TARSUS, and the author is planning a completely new and expanded version in the future, which will eventually replace this version. In the meantime, I'm sure Claire will be very interested in all comments and suggestions as part of her plans for Version 2.
