Given the time and resources they have, it'd have been hard for them to do much better.
But it did remind me of Chicago, which is quite one of the most splendid cities I have ever visited, with a real Chicagoan Native Guide who told us firmly that every single significant advance (including all design trends and the A-bomb) had originated in Chi. I think he made his case well... And the lake has boat trips on a four-masted schooner. I have a picture of it but it's on my machine, not on a 3rd party site, and I can't remember how to post it.
