I can't be precise about the plaque, but Borrans Park is
54o 25' 17.15" N
2o 57' 55.60" W
(where o is degrees)

Alternatively fly to Waterhead, Ambleside and look for very top of the lake. It's a well kept grassy area.

The spot height is 47 metres above sea, whereas the lake is 43m so only 4 metres height variation.
