Yes, it must be related; Dave forgot (as one so easily does) to add the 'end underline' tag (openanglebracket forwardslash u closeanglebracket) which means that every character after the 'open underline' on the page will display as underlined, going down as far back as you like, until it encounters a 'close underline' tag. But there aren't too many of those about. More recent messages don't have the lone 'open underline' tag, so everything in them will display correctly. I do hope this makes sense...
Now if only I knew how to display the tag characters without making them operate, I wouldn't have to do this 'openanglebracket' gobbledygook. Dave, could you advise?
