Just thinking... I suppose everybody's done this already but just in case, here's the link to Low Ludderburn on Google Maps. If you drag the Street View man to the left part of gentle wiggle in the road, in the middle of the sat image, and then look right towards the small building in the right centre, you can see the house they lived in and the converted farm building in which AR wrote the first books. He would have been sitting by the window at the end. There's also the wooden garage they built for Rattletrap. It's all very clear, good quality pictures. You can move up and down the road to look into the 'writing' window, look left to see the bank where Evgenya planted snowdrops, and see their view into the valley below. Like so many Street View images, I find it curiously direct and moving.

Sorry if you've all done this already. It's given me a lot of quiet pleasure. For me Street View is, apart from email and Tarboard, one of the things that makes the Internet a Good Thing.
