In PM CH 2 the Amazons light candles for the Ds on their first and only night in Beckfoot. In CH 19 the GA uses a lamp to hunt for burglars, she doesn't go around flicking light switches. This doesn't rule out Beckfoot having a generator which is shut down before bedtime but it seems unlikely.
