The slide show has high production values, I liked the music, but... the references to updating and a film about growing up - this give me cause for concern, being old enough to remember the original 1960s BBC B&W TV version and the disappointment I felt over that (I was 8 or 9)!
As I have argued here before, for me the books are a snapshot of life at the time they were written and any film ought to reflect that.
Does anyone know if the production is for cinema release first on just for TV?
