We know that AR wanted to change the S&A date to 1930, but Cape refused.
Possibly the best option would have been to follow the way the German language books dealt with the problem and omit the year altogether.
Probably 1929 was fine when S&A was a single book, but as part of a near contemparary series 1930 would have been better.
