By the way, the author, Paul ('Captain') Flint is a trustee of the Arthur Ransome Trust (ART), which is a charity. You might also wish to look at an 'interactive' jigsaw map of AR's lake country on the ART website:
Scroll down, and give the map time to load, then tick all the price categories in the list which appears on the map. Then as you run the cursor over the map, the AR locations appear and disappear. It costs nothing to do this, but if you do wish to buy a 'jigsaw piece' (they are for sale to raise funds - the prices are graded) payment instructions are given. But there is no obligation.
