Tom:

I spent many enjoyable hours in Physics studying these theories. I could at one stage, although not now, do some of the derivations.

In terms of quantum theory and the speed of light, a number of papers I have read recently, and when I get back from Purdue I will dig them out, suggest that a "twinned wave set" i.e. Wave A in box A and Wave B in Box B could exchange states at the same time, < I have used a simple explanation> ie faster than light is how I read it, quantum entanglement - but as Tom correctly points out everything is controlled by the speed of light and these quantum entanglements, if they exist, have less use than Roger's jokes.

The problem with math is math and the singularities.

The joy of math is math and the singularities.

So at the limit of travel: i.e. the speed of light I send this missive.
