Adam - I posted this morning (UK time) and didn't even notice.
I think Pam's suggestion covers the issue very well (I'm just jealous as someone working in IT I didn't think of it!)
Harvesting by spammers is a problem, in the main just an irritating one - I have a couple of Websites (not AR related!) that have a contact form which does not publish my e-mail address but gets routed to the appropriate one I have setup for that site, and I get strange messages through this every week or so which have clearly originated from harvesting.
As I say, nothing of any trouble just irritating - privacy is important - I usually find that those that argue they have nothing to hide miss the point - you wouldn't post your bank or credit card details, of course not, so better to take care at a lower level and continue discussions in the way Pam has suggested.
