I'm sorry, Adam, but I don't accept your rebuke. I was querying the very very obvious clash between Peter C's disparaging reference (on the face of it) to parents sending their children to boarding schools, and his own experience as a boarder. Peter C has now explained things in a way which enables me to understand what he meant. No intrusion was intended. This is a rare occasion on which you have been unfair.
