Whilst AR did live in Bournemouth, it was just for a brief period in 1910 when Tabitha was born.
The sanitation topic reminds me there is another AR, also an author, who published lots of medical texts, he is slightly older than our AR. The letter must have been him.
To read the 'Luxemburg' book, head to www.archive.org as they have several versions. It is a very weird book though - religious and yet anti-religious at the same time, I thought.
