The top of Tilberthwaite Gill (up on High Topps, below Wetherlam) is very Swallowdale/Golden Gulch - like. More Swallowdale-like because of the stream and the little waterfalls, but then of course PP is during a major drought when the streams and springs are all dry. It is easy to find because the footpath goes right through it - I think there's a little bridge. There's a cave there - perfectly serviceable as Peter Duck's or as the mine. It doesn't feel quite secret enough for Swallowdale - I don't think you could imagine stumbling into it and thinking "what a perfect place for a camp".
