I came across mention of a musical (piano, I think) piece in the Reading archive some years ago, dated 1937.
'Swallows and Amazons Suite'. 'Swallow', 'Amazon', 'The Island', 'The Lake', by a Miss Tivy of Ditchling. I tried and failed to contact her.
"I suppose it's all right" was AR's comment.
Thinking of 'The Three Elizabeths' by Eric Coates, what fun if somebody could compose a suite
with Nancy, Titty and Roger as the subjects!
