Quite agree Mike, but then most BBC 4 documentaries are dumbed down nowadays - usual thing - loud foreground music with banging timpani, endless locations shots of the presenter, constant jump-cutting in case anyone should lose interest for half a second . . .
But let's hope David Dimbleby's 'Britain and the Sea' programme tonight (Sun.) is an improvement. It will feature Nancy Blackett and an interview with Tarboarder Peter Willis. I hope they give him more than 10 seconds . . .
