I don't disagree with Roger, and I appreciate that AR hated the 1963 serial, and we'll never know what he would have thought of the 1974 film, but I do think it's important to see all interpretations of AR's work. The same applies to the various versions of the books; if one is to disregard everything but the originals we could miss so much.
Judging by the previous posts here many of us are looking forward to seeing the latest version now being filmed, doesn't this show an interest in different interpretations?
