Nothing very helpful, I'm afraid. Leeds have no letters from AR to or from Coates, Kahan, Golllancz or Trotsky.
Zelda Kahan (1881-1967) Of Russian-Jewish origin. Married W. P. Coates in 1912. Worked alongside Theodore Rothstein (Russian-German-Jew) in the Foreign Office.
