'Wainwright: the man who loved the Lakes' is on BBC4 tonight, Sunday Feb 9th, at 20:00.
It's a repeat but I hadn't see it before and I liked it very much. There are wonderful scenes of the lakes, the fells, sheep in the pouring rain, and good excerpts from Wainwright, from the books and his 'Desert Island Discs' programme. Also good interviews with people who knew him, including his second wife. No mention of AR, but not needed.
For those in the UK, or abroad with subscriptions to the BBC, it's on the iPlayer ahead of transmission and for the next week. Link below.
