This is an interesting point, Ed.
Not sure if there is a typo as in the first two instances that you describe the Tak’ is Bob telling the explorers to do something, whereas when he uses Tak when describing the prospectors words he is being descriptive nor commanding.
I expect a TarBoarder with a better knowledge of English can give the correct wording for these particular uses of English.
You can certainly find on line dictionaries for all sorts of dialects. A lake district version is shown at the link below
