When I was a child we lived in Charrington Street, less than half a mile from Euston, King's Cross and St Pancras stations and we played in and around them all. The canal you mention Roger is the Regent's Canal, where we used to fish, but never caught anything.
I can't make up my mind wether Tarboard is a sad and lonely place or a happy place to be celebrated.
