Indeed, Owen, in fact the traditional bothy is not secure at all, as the whole point of them is that they can be used on a casual basis or in emergency - this is certainly the case in e.g. the Scottish Highlands. Whether the Dogs Home, which is not all that far from a car park, will be left unlocked, I don't know. I hope it will be unlocked, and I should have said "latch" and not "lock" in my last posting.
