Back to Belle Grange though - a picture like this has real Picts and the Martyrs look about it. You can see Dick and Dot lurking - much more so than in the immediate environs of any of the other contenders for Beckfoot.
(PS: If Town Head is in the mix for Beckfoot, does that mean that there might be a bit of Gummer's How in Kanchenjunga? I have always felt that despite its obvious Old Man features, the walk doesn't bear that much resemblance to the Old Man as described in SD)
