The Bells - The Bells!
Town Head has manual bells – the sort operated by a bell pull in each room.
Nothing for the GA to complain about.
Beckfoot had battery operated electric bells. These had a panel in the kitchen and when an electric bell rang and an indicator board dropped in a square to indicate the room that needed service.
Can well remember playing with this type of bell until my father disconnected them.
However, generally Town Head does have a Beckfoot atmosphere thet some other candidates lack.
