Luckily I didn't need to press Mark after our initial meeting and visit to the Dogs Home - he's a bit of an enthusiast too, and kept a look-out for funding and seized an opportunity earlier this year. But now it's up to us to fund the extras - the information board and footpath works. I think the door and window frame will weather quite quickly. I wonder what it looked like in AR's time? There is evidence of different stonework in its construction, so I'm not clear when it reached its current form.
