I totally agree. Ed's summing up is masterly. Alleluia! - I have waited for years for one of the Tarboard Grandees to admit that Beckfoot is for the most part a fictional construction, based on typical Lake District Victorian architecture. Now that Ed has given a ruling - that's it. No one contradicts Ed!
