Sadly, Peter Hodges died on the 19th December, 2013.
Peter was a frequent contributor to Mixed Moss, the Arthur Ransome Society's journal and also to other publications such as Model Boats.
He was a career Royal Naval officer, he generously allowed me to pick his brains when I made mention of the Navy in my own articles.
