The latest paperback edition brought out to coincide with the film's release, has been given the same title as the film and it carries portraits of the cast on the cover.
Isn't this what you would expect from any publisher at any time; they're in business to make money- for themselves and their authors, and a film, whether or not closely related to the book, stands to be excellent publicity, appealing possibly to a whole new audience/readership.
