Roger - this is quite depressing to read, but on the positive side increases my admiration for the work and scholarship of your books. I'm almost ashamed to admit my copies came from online sellers (my nearest proper bookshop of any quality would involve a thirty mile round trip, doubly difficult as I no longer drive for health reasons), to find out you only make 75p a copy - this is the price we pay for cheap books!
As I have only a limited understanding how these things work - why do the literary executors charge so much for the use of the material?
