I have been slowly working my way through the latest Amazon book by and about Ransome. it is interesting to consider that he had his own hero's and creation myths as we use SA as a part of our own creation mythology. In thinking about the comment about Udal Law and the use of the Norse word, Thorstein of the mere looms large in AR's work. His influences from TOM are apparent in his writing.
