Oh, what fun for you! I loved the years when my children finally picked up one or more of the books (my younger daughter inhaled the whole series with great joy :-), and when we decided to go to England & see Coniston & Windermere, I read the whole series aloud all winter. It was fun for me to watch my oldest start by saying he didn't want to listen, then slowly move closer to the action, and erupt in laughter now & then! I am looking forward (no hurry) to grandchildren, who will learn that Granny Elizabeth gives books as gifts.
