I have spent many happy hours working on the SW chart, using AutoCAD. The map of course has some interesting errors that make it a bit of a challenge, two different bearings have the same bearing marked on them. The scale is hard to determine as there is a mile drawn but it is on another sheet.

I have been onto the Google maps and one can work out approximately what AR used as his base line and get a length. I have been trying for several years to do an article on the matter, but I just run out of time.
