Dylan Winter did this some years ago, when he used morphed images of my map of Secret Water with aerial photos from Google Earth as an introduction to a short film about the Walton Backwaters. This was one of his many short films comprising his "Keep Turning Left" series.
Regrettably, he seems to have removed it from his library of videos -- although a look at the one at the link will show a bit of the same area.
I have to warn you that Dylan is not an AR fan, and you won't like his comments about 'Secret Water'....
