I've finally worked out the setting on my PC that lets me record audio from webpages, rather than from my microphone socket.
Now I have a copy of the broadcast for later analysis, which can be stored with the other 'Great Lives' programme which regarded AR when John Sergeant was interviewed.
The best part of these recordings is when they dig through the BBC archives, and treat us to snippets of AR reading his own fishing essays or Russian folk tales. That voice! But of course the clips are always far too short.
