What a fascinating survey.
Not sure why these prices are being requested.
I would be tempted a email the bookseller and ask why the price is so high.
Depending on the reply , you could offer a number of the books at half the advertised asking price (giving the seller a 100% profit) and a good margin for yourself to counteract the lack of royalties eleswhere.
