Good points Peter, I was thinking something similar recently. Though I have always read AR I have done much more reading and research of late in the start of sixties, so as you say we are part of generation passing.
How do you encourage such reading? What was it about the first Harry Potter book that had the required effect, I'm sure I've read that Bloomsbury only did a very short print run to begin with.
Does anyone know if Cape/Red Fox issue sales figures for AR?
