I assume you worked on Horizon in the 1970s

More like in the '80s. It was a smashing programme to work on. But I'm sure it is now- I still watch it.
I'm glad you enjoyed the shows. Nowadays I really enjoy programmes by Brian Cox and Jim Al Khalili. And Michael Mosley, who was a splendid colleague. But as with AR, my seriousness has dropped. The clear purpose of being here at all has, as it does, become quite clear. I have four grandsons (two lots of two, between four and ten years old) and I was wondering how they might, or might not, take to reading AR. Their lives couldn't be more different; their mothers and fathers are museum curators, audiovisual producers, graphic artists, professional DJs and electricians, and we all live within striking distance of one another in Southwark, in the Peckham borders, South East London. And their interests are, of course, video games for the smallest, train and tram driving simulators (very seriously) and their main experience is strongly urban.
I'm trying to work out which of the AR books would be most likely to turn them on. I guess it will be mostly suck it and see...
For some reason, I suspect it might be WH. But the problem is that I'm biased...
