When I said that a great-grandparent is mentioned in the books, if anybody realised who I was referring to, they stayed silent about it.
The context was a discussion of grandparents of the central child characters.
I meant Nancy's and Peggy's great-grandfather, who is mentioned by the GA in her letter to Molly at the end of PM: "Ruth ... showed that she possesses much of the tact that was characteristic of your grandfather."
