I'm chair of Hallgarth Community Centre in Kendal, from my days in politics though it is rewarding as we achieve good things for the estate. About ten days ago I picked up a missed call, and when I phoned back it was Shaheen Baig Casting agency about auditions for the child parts for the Swallows and Amazons film. These are on this evening (right now!) and all day tomorrow, unfortunately the Centre had a booking for Saturday afternoon and I don't know where they eventually found to hold them.
But an amazing coincidence - not sure they believed me when I said I had Swallow on my drive tho.
