Many of us in SE England will probably miss the partial eclipse because of cloud cover. However we might have a chance of seeing a super moon (perigee) and pass the vernal equinox which is not weather dependant.
The view might be clearer on the Broads, could be even better in the lakes and the best view in the UK might be from a certain Pict house above Scrubbers Cove.
Our local airport was offering flights around the Faroe Islands, which is apparently the nearest place in the UK to see a full eclipse.
Remember Nancy suggested to Dick that he had come to the Arctic to see an eclipse. The further north you are this year, the more complete the eclipse.
