Dave - if Mark is looking for NZ first publication dates, then I doubt if either of the books you mention, admirable though they both are, will help. Ransome's Foreign Legion is concerned with AR's books published in a language other than English. Wayne Hammond's Bibliography covers mainly UK and American publication dates, including Canada. The only mention of the Antipodes that I can find is on p. 72, where he states that the S&A series was published ". . in its entirety in 1949 by the Australasian Publishing Co, Sydney . ."
