That was my idea - based on an earlier idea that "The Mount" at Belle Grange could have been the original. Not an awful lot to back it up, though, other than that he is likely to have seen the painting when visiting Belle Isle and the picture is very Beckfoot Promontory-like!
I like Watbarrow Point as a contender too. Some of the drawings are quite unusual in that it appears to be quite a high treeless ridge.
